Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Zirka account and all of your family's data at any time. This page explains how deletion works and what exactly is removed, including if you signed in with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way is directly in the Zirka app:
- Sign in to Zirka as the parent
- Open Settings and scroll to the very bottom, to the "Delete account" section
- Tap "Delete account…"
- Type DELETE (capital Latin letters) to confirm, then tap "Delete forever"
Cancel your subscription first
If you have an active Zirka subscription, cancel it before deleting your account. Subscriptions are billed by the app store you purchased through (Apple App Store or Google Play), and deleting your Zirka account does not cancel them automatically - you could keep being charged. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, then delete your account.
What gets deleted
Deletion is immediate and permanent - there is no recovery period and we cannot restore a deleted account. Deleting your parent account removes your entire family's data:
- Your parent account, including your email and sign-in credentials
- Any linked Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in connections
- All of your children's profiles
- All study sessions, including every message and photo your children submitted
- Your custom subjects, settings, and notifications
Children's accounts
Children cannot delete data themselves - child profiles have no email or password and are fully managed by the parent. A child's data is deleted when the parent deletes the family account, as described above. If you want a specific child's data removed without deleting your whole account, contact us and we will help.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address your parent account is registered with and ask us to delete your account. We will verify the request and permanently delete your family's data.
